Our parent class representatives organise social events and nursery meetings at various times throughout the year both to provide social activities for the parents and occasionally to fundraise for Shofar. New equipment for the children’s enjoyment and learning is purchased with any more raised from these events.

The Shofar Trustees were appointed from the inception of Shofar and together with other members of the Movement for Reform Judaism were responsible for ensuring that Shofar opened on the Sternberg Centre site, offering a Reform Jewish Day care facility that was lacking in the area.
