Iveta Fricova – Te’enah Room Leader (Baby Room)

My name is Iveta and I am the room leader in the Baby room (Te’enah) class. I have been working with children for the last eight years. I have experience as a volunteer in a hospital at the children’s department, a camp counsellor, a babysitter, an Au Pair and finally, as a nursery practitioner.

I have been working for more than three years at Shofar, and it feels like Shofar is my second home! I consistently develop my knowledge of early years teaching through different courses and training, offering the children the best possible development opportunities.

I am a very energetic teacher and passionate about my work. I love working with children and caring for them and coming up with fun and creative activities that I know they will enjoy. I especially love different sensory and messy play activities, and I myself love to get messy with the children! As much as I love to sing karaoke in my free time, I love to sing and make up my own songs at nursery. I also love reading stories, dancing and everything that my job brings. I am very playful, which my home collection of over 150 board and card games demonstrates!
